Then this week, one of the little 10 inch gang from last June was summoned to Lawrenceville, Georgia!
The larger bears were all fast asleep - still grumbling about being disturbed in December - so it was a low-key farewell. The little ginger bear is probably in the air as i blog. Plenty of ventilation holes but i hope it's not too cold in the hold.
My geography is beyond hopeless, but as i see it, the Bovis Bear colony in the States now stretches from Washington top left to Georgia bottom right with many bears settled in Massachusetts top right (er.. the East coast!)
Yeah, they are spreading their love around the world :) Who is the curly chap on the right behind the rusty red fellow? Love all your bears xo
ReplyDeleteThe lady in Missouri who homed the large curly boy suggested i make labels for them. I'm still considering it - but i don't even like signing paintings. I have an idea though, maybe getting round to creating tails (which wild bears do have, after all) and having a discreet label on the underside?
ReplyDeleteThe curly lad in the picture is in the shop but i've just noticed that his listing has expired! I shall rectify the situation. I made him just before your Fritz. I have another with curls awaiting a pedicure and a little training who is bigger than the little bears but smaller than the usual size.

So glad to hear everyone is fine there! We are ok here, too. Just waiting for winter to be OVER! I think a small label wouldn't be a bad idea, that way if the bear is given as a gift, it would enable to person who gets him to look you up :) . Lots of hugs from all of us xoxo
